Cooling & Freezing
A refrigerator is an open system that dispels heat from a closed space to a warmer area, usually a kitchen or another room. By dispelling the heat from this area, it decreases in temperature, allowing food and other items to remain at a cool temperature.
A freeze dryer removes water from a perishable material in order to preserve it, extending its shelf life and/or making it more convenient for transport.
Laboratory Freezers are refrigerated cabinets useful for storing biological specimens and volatile reagents at temperatures ranging between -40 ºC and 10 ºC.
